Confined Space & Rescue Training

Target participants

All types of workers, supervisors and safety officers working in confined space or related activity like sewermen, cement silos, vessels, oil rigs etc.

Objective

The participants would acquire theoretical and practical knowledge on safe entry and working inside the confined spaces. A complete practical training on safe access, atmospheric testing, rescue from confined space, victim handling etc would be covered in specially designed and crafted confined spaces to pose challenging conditions.

Entry pre-requisites and medical fitness

Physical fitness certified from a doctor is a must.
Age limitation: below 55 years
Should not be claustrophobic.

Assessment method : Written and Rigorous practical examination
Certification : Eduforce certificate
Certificate validity : 2 years

Advanced programme for team supervisors, captains, OIM, managers with focus on safe entry procedures and rescue techniques.

Objective

The participants would sharpen skills and techniques in safe systems of work, method statements, checklist implementations etc. and practical knowledge on safe entry and working inside the confined spaces. A complete practical training on safe access, atmospheric testing, rescue from confined space, victim handling with specialized rescue exercises for victims trapped in death spaces.

Entry pre-requisites and medical fitness

Physical fitness certified from a doctor is a must.
Age limitation: Between 20 - 60 years
Should not be claustrophobic.

The participants would enhance the basic knowledge on gaseous hazards, their effects and normal parameters. To provide with the knowledge on how to perform atmospheric testing in a confined space as well as hands-on experience with using a gas detector.
